Wheaton College has over 30 Approved Semester Study Abroad Programs in many countries where students may apply their financial aid.
Wheaton Financial Aid
Wheaton College financial aid, Federal/State financial aid, and independent scholarships may be applied to the Approved Semester Domestic and International programs. As a Wheaton student, if you are thinking about participating in a study abroad/off-campus study program, meet with your Student Financial Services Specialist to find out how your specific aid package might be applied to Off-Campus Study program costs. The Student Financial Services Office is located on the second floor in the Student Services Building.
Programs not on the Approved Semester Programs list will not be eligible for Wheaton Financial Aid.

- Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship
A scholarship based on the financial aid one is already receiving (must be getting the Federal Pell Grant) and the location of the study abroad program.

Boren Scholarships, an initiative of the National Security Education Program, provide a unique funding opportunity for U.S. undergraduate students to study world regions critical to U.S. interests (including Africa, Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin America & the Caribbean, and the Middle East). Recipients of this scholarship commit to working in the federal government for at least one year after graduation. For Students who elect the option of including a formal campus review, the campus deadline for application submission is January 10, 2024.
