In Her Own Words
As a 2024 Wheaton College graduate, I am beyond excited to know that you are considering Wheaton to be part of your next chapter! My experience at Wheaton College was not only one of the best times I have had but also a great testament to my faith. I am forever grateful to have met faculty, staff, and peers who challenged me in various ways, especially in my faith and vocation. Truly, I would do it all again if I could!
I was born in Winston Salem, North Carolina, grew up in Greensboro for the first few years of my life and spent the remainder of my childhood in Singapore as my parents were missionaries! Now, my family is located back in the states, up north in New England. A mouthful, I know! But the Lord has taught me how to be eager to learn about different cultures, be adaptable in every circumstance, and see beauty in the differences of individuals.
I know the Lord has a beautiful future in store for you and whether or not that is Wheaton, I hope and pray that you will be able to flourish and glorify God with the gifts that He has given you wherever you go. This season of college searching is not easy, but it is truly full of new lessons in life and emphasizes the importance of your willingness to listen to what God is trying to tell you about your new chapter!
