Your arrival and move in date depends on whether you are an International Student, First Generation College Student, Music Major, or in ROTC. No parent programming will occur on campus once students return from their Passage sites.

Campus Residences Open for Early Arrival Move-In
Early Arrivals listed below, head to your campus residence to begin the move-in process. The Thunder Move-In Team will be ready to assist all new students with moving into their residence!

Early Arrivals include:

- Football

- Music Majors

- ROTC Cadets

- International Students: MK/TCK/F1 visa

- First Generation College Students Students whose parents, or legal guardians, did not graduate from college, whether a two-year or a four-year institution, making them and their siblings first generation college students

Parent Check-In and Hospitality

Parents, check in and pick up your nametags, enjoy a cup of coffee, gather some Wheaton swag, and make some new friends.

 

Learning & Accessibility Services Parent Open House

Parents are invited to come explore the academic success support available through Learning & Accessibility Services (LAS) as well as the process and resources for students with disabilities needing ADA accommodations. Come meet the LAS staff, grab a snack, and leave with valuable information on academic resources for your student!

Parenting College Age Kids: What to Expect When Launching Your Student

 Parents and guardians, you have cared for, nurtured, and protected your kids for nearly two decades. Now is the time to transition into a parent-adult child relationship. This parent seminar, led by Professors David VanDyke and Wendy Smith from Wheaton’s Marriage and Family Therapy program, will provide helpful tools for navigating this transition in the life of your family.
