Urbana Missions Conference
Every three years, the Ministry & Evangelism Office helps send Wheaton College undergrad and grad students to Urbana—a major Christian missions conference hosted by InterVarsity Christian Fellowship.
At Urbana 22, over 100 Wheaton students joined thousands of others to hear powerful speakers, connect with mission orgs, dive into seminars and breakout tracks, worship through music and the arts, receive prayer, and dig into Scripture through inductive Bible study.
The next conference is coming up December 28–31, 2025, in Phoenix, Arizona—and we’d love for you to come! Want to learn more, apply for a scholarship, or get involved? Reach out to us at ministry.evangelism@wheaton.edu.

What Alumni are Saying About Ministry & Evangelism
Christine Schlais
Family Medicine PA at Lawndale Christian Health Center
"I intimately learned that God is full of grace and wisdom and that He cares for and sees each person we are leading."
David Nemetz
"In my time leading with World Christian Fellowship, it taught me how to develop a team and delegate specific tasks, and it helped grow my heart for the global church. We had so much fun hosting weekly worship nights and hearing from speakers from around the world. I also got to go on a trip to Mexico with Student Missionary Partners, which helped open my eyes to a new culture with various ministries that help the community. All of this helped prepare me to be a youth pastor now, where I get to teach my students every week about how much Jesus loves them and how He wants them involved in his global church! I love that we get to do things like raise money to support missionaries and go on trips to other countries to see how God is working there. I’m so thankful for what the OME taught me and I hope more students can experience the same!"
Dan Hanson (w/Kristen Hanson) '20

"I use some of the skills I learned during my time in leadership almost every day as I interact with my coworkers. "
Ester Ham

"Being a part of WCF has changed my perspective of my time at Wheaton. We are here to remind each other of the gospel and seek the Kingdom of God first together."
