Transportation Options To and From HoneyRock for Campers
We need to know how your camper is getting to and from camp no later than May 15th. After the May 15th deadline, we cannot guarantee a seat on a bus or an airport shuttle to or from HoneyRock.
There are several options when considering how to get to HoneyRock, listed below. Click on the mode of transportation to expand the section and learn more about your options.
HoneyRock provides coach bus transportation to HoneyRock from several locations for your convenience. Our pick-up and drop-off options vary, so please carefully read through the information below. There is an additional fee of $95 each way for campers who ride the bus to and from HoneyRock.
We keep parents in the loop with Facebook updates for their camper's journey to and from camp. After you drop your camper off or before you pick them up, follow along on Facebook to keep up to date!

Bus Check-In & Check-Out Locations
The Wheaton College location is an available option for all bus check-in and check-out locations for all camp programs and dates.

Bus Check-in at Wheaton- 6:30 am (8:00 am for Catalyst 2)

Please note these stops are bus check-in only locations on the way to HoneyRock. Camper bus check-out is not offered at this location for Summer 2024.
Additional Camper Bus Check-Out Only Locations
Please note that the Culver's stop is a camper bus check-out location on the way home from HoneyRock. (This stop is not offered on the way to HoneyRock for Summer 2025.)
Camper Check-out - 11:30 am
Directions: I-90/94 Northbound. Take Exit 126 (Dane/DeForest.) Culvers is on the east side of I-90/94 and you will be able to see it from the highway; drop off campers on the Wheaton bound return trip only.
Drop Off at HoneyRock
If you are driving your child directly to camp, please arrive between 1:30 - 3:30 pm* for check-in on the day the camp session begins. Upon arrival, our staff will direct you to the check-in area (Day Camp excluded).
*Catalyst 2 drop off at HoneyRock is from 2:00 - 4:00 pm on their arrival day.
Pick Up at HoneyRock
If you are picking up your child from camp on the last day of the session, please arrive by 9:00 am on their departure day to participate in Family Day and pick up your camper. If someone other than you is picking up your child from camp, complete the Transportation Authorization Form in your camper's HoneyRock account prior to the departure date.

- Authorizing another adult to pick up your camper? Complete our Transportation Authorization Form by logging into your HoneyRock account.
Additional Charge: An airport shuttle is an additional $150 each way from CWA and $75 each way from Rhinelander and will be billed through your HoneyRock account.
If your child will be flying to camp, he/she must fly in to Central Wisconsin Airport (CWA) in Mosinee, WI, or Rhinelander Oneida County Airport (RHI). If your camper is traveling as an unaccompanied minor, be sure to check with your airline for additional policies, regulations, and fees surrounding their travel.
Double check with your airline ahead of time to take care of any additional charges. HoneyRock can not be responsible for the cost of extra luggage or any unaccompanied minor fees.

Choose a Flight Arriving Between These Times
Your camper must arrive at CWA or RHI between 6:00am-3:00pm on the day the camp session begins.

Sending Travel Money
Please only send the amount they will need to travel with - do not send Beehive (camp store) funds with them. If you send travel money with your child, please seal it in an envelope with his/her name and amount and pack it in a location known to your camper. We are unable to withdraw money from the Beehive for travel home.
