High School Retreat for HoneyRockers

ReGroup at HoneyRock - Please note the date change!

Come and re-connect with friends, cabin mates and counselors this winter for a time of fun, fellowship and friendship in the Northwoods! ReGroup is an awesome opportunity to see a different side of HoneyRock and experience a whole new set of activities: cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, winter canoeing, ice-skating, hockey, and BROOMBALL! 

Cost: $260 per attendee


Additional Information

Open to all campers who attended a high school camper program in the past four summers: 2020-2023.

The daily schedule you see below is approximate. Once we see how many campers are coming and what the weather looks like, we'll fine-tune everything to make sure it's safe and fun for campers.

1:00 Winter Activity Areas Ice skating, hockey, tubing, broomball, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and more!
4:00 OPA Free time to hang out at the Beehive, play board games, hang out by the fire
5:15 Dinner Traditionally hot casseroles with sides of bread and veggies
6:00 Group Activity To be determined...but it'll be fun! 
7:00 Chapel Gathering in the chapel to hear from God's word.
8:00 Free Time Hanging out at the Beehive, playing board games...free time!
9:00 Cabin Reflection Spending time as a cabin talking about the day: highs, lows, and God sightings

Make sure to label all clothes with your camper's name!

*Please Note: We take winter weather seriously! It gets COLD in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. If a camper does not have adequate winter gear, they will not be allowed to participate in outdoor activities.

Parent Drop Off/Pick Up At HoneyRock

If you're driving your child to ReGroup, you can drop them off as early as 6:00pm on arrival day. Pickup at HoneyRock is at 9:00am on departure day. If someone other than the legal parent/guardian is taking your camper to and/or from camp, please fill out the Transportation Authorization Form.

Transportation Provided by HoneyRock

Meals will be provided to campers riding the bus. HoneyRock provides transportation to and from Wheaton, IL and Madison, WI for an additional $95 (round trip). See below for pickup and drop-off times. All times are approximate and pending weather/traffic. On travel days, please follow us on our Facebook page for real-time travel updates.

Bus To HoneyRock

Wheaton College: Chrouser Sports Complex
We will be at the Chrouser Sports Complex at 3:00pm for check-in and loading. The address is 601 Kenilworth Ave, Wheaton, IL 60187.

Madison: Culvers
We will arrive at Madison at 6:00pm for dinner at Culver's and will be departing at 6:30 pm for the rest of the journey North. On I-90/94 Northbound, take Exit 126 (Dane/DeForest) - Culvers is on the east side of I-90/94 and is visible from the highway

Bus From HoneyRock

  • HoneyRock: The bus will depart HoneyRock at 9:00 am.  
  • Madison: Culvers - approximately 11:30 am
  • Wheaton: Chrouser Sports Complex - 3:00pm

Airport Pickup/Drop-Off

An airport shuttle to and from the Rhinelander Oneida County Airport (RHI) is available for an additional $75 (includes both ways) and will be billed through your HoneyRock account. Your camper must try to arrive at RHI between 3:00pm and 7:00pm on Friday, January 17th. Your camper should depart from RHI between 9:00am and 2:00pm on Monday, January 20th.

If your child will be flying to camp, he/she must fly into Rhinelander Oneida County Airport (RHI). If your child is traveling as an unaccompanied minor, please check with your airline for additional policies and regulations surrounding their travel. Please check with your airline ahead of time to take care of any additional charges. HoneyRock will not be responsible for the cost of extra luggage or any unaccompanied minor fees.
