I was born and raised in southern California, however, my family moved to the Midwest while I was in junior high. I graduated High School in a small town in central Wisconsin. After HS, I attended Wheaton College, married, and have 5 grown children and 2 grandchildren with another one on the way! I currently live in the Wheaton area, and I enjoy working out, cooking, photography, hiking, biking, traveling, and enjoying anything related to being outdoors. My family attends Christ Presbyterian Church (PCA) and we really love connecting with our church body through bible studies, community groups, and serving opportunities.

I was first introduced to HoneyRock through Wheaton College's Freshman High Road, which is now called Passage. I was the college freshman girl who showed up to High Road with a hairdryer packed in my suitcase and dreams of endless days of rock climbing. I had no idea what I was in for. God used the next 21 days in the wilderness to begin breaking down my self-reliance, independence, and pride. High Road taught me to dig deep into Christ and into Scripture. It taught me the necessity of relying on and trusting others, and it built in me a strength and resolve to persevere through challenges and hardships. I returned to HoneyRock over spring break for a college Equestrian Camp, and then again to work with the waterfront staff the following summer, lifeguarding and teaching boating skills to campers. Years later, I began sending my kids to HoneyRock as campers, and HoneyRock has been a place where each of them has grown in character, faith, and a love of the outdoors. When a position opened up at HoneyRock’s Wheaton office, it was an easy decision for me to apply and join the staff at the “southwoods campus” because of how God has used this place in my life and in life of my family over the last 30+ years. I love the heart and mission of HoneyRock, and it is my prayer that the Lord will continue to use HoneyRock to shape and build His purpose into the lives of all who come to this beautiful “place apart.”
