How much is it?
The Logos 10 package is $525. A BDAG/HALOT license is available for an additional $160.
Why is it so expensive?
The upfront costs are high, but the package offers an excellent overall value. You are getting a solid, readily available library of quality resources, which includes $539 worth of required texts for our program. Also keep in mind that these resources are your to keep in perpetuity so if you want to build a library, this is a good investment.
Will I need it for classes?
Logos will not be required for any of your Wheaton courses, though we hope to integrate it more into the classroom, particularly for preaching courses. You will notice that some of your professors use it and reference Logos during lectures.
Is it difficult to use?
Logos has many tools and functionalities so there is certainly a learning curve in using some of their more sophisticated tools. But the basics, like accessing digital resources is simple and intuitive. Training for using Logos is part of our partnership agreement with Faithlife. They offer free online courses and tutorials:
Ok, how do I purchase this?
Go to this link and use your Wheaton credentials to login and a credit card to pay for the license. Within 24-48 hours you will receive an email with "unlock" instructions from Logos directly.
