Proofpoint: What a Success!
Proofpoint has been a fabulous success! Since the implementation of Proofpoint in September we have had ZERO compromised employee email accounts (down from dozens in this same time period last year.) The campus is pleased with this increase in security as it is successful in keeping nefarious people from tricking us into giving up sensitive information. Thank you so much for partnering with us to keep our campus data more secure in this way.
Did you know that you can reduce the number of Proofpoint Quarantine emails you receive?
You can reduce the number of Proofpoint Quarantine emails you receive and also the number of unwanted emails in your inbox by taking a few minutes to “block” or “allow” the messages that show up in your quarantine email.
Each time you “block sender” from your Quarantine email, you teach Proofpoint to recognize that you do not wish to receive any emails from that sender in the future. And those emails will no longer make it to your inbox.
It is probably worth your time to spend a few minutes each day clearing these out. Even just a few minutes can add up to a significant reduction in unwanted emails.
