How to succeed at Dual Modality Teaching
Academic and Institutional Technology (AIT) is here to help with dual modality teaching! We know this new way of teaching is going to require a lot of patience and adjustments from all of us. Take a few minutes to look through and see if any of these articles may help answer questions you have about dual modality teaching.
Q: How do I know what technology is installed in my assigned classroom?
A: Go to answers.wheaton.edu and type in your classroom name (for example, BGC 532) and you can find what technology is installed there.
Q: How do I do dual modality teaching from a classroom?
A: You can use the classroom computer or your laptop to do dual modality teaching from a classroom.
Q: I missed the summer faculty workshops, or I attended them, but want to review what I learned. Is there some way to still see those?
A: There sure is! Log in to Schoology and on your dashboard, you will find “AIT Workshop – Educational Technology Resources for Fall 2020 in Dual Modality.” Feel free to review any of the information you find there.
