Wi-Fi Calling in Campus Buildings
Effective Date: Immediately
At this time, most major cell carriers provide Wi-Fi calling, a service for smartphones that enables you to make voice calls using wireless networks in areas with poor reception.
In some campus buildings, you may not have cellular reception. However, while connected to the campus wireless network on your smartphone, you should still be able to make phone calls using your provider's Wi-Fi calling service.
For more information on enabling Wi-Fi calling on your phone, contact your wireless provider. AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon have FAQ pages you can reference.
If you aren't able to connect to the wireless network in a certain building, we encourage you to report a wireless issue, contact us or call 630.752.4357 (HELP).
