Updates to College-Owned Macs
Effective Date: Summer 2016
During the summer of 2016, we will make some changes to College-owned Macs. In order to enable further updates to Macs and increase the efficiency of our campus network, we will add Macs to the College domain. User accounts on Macs will now be connected to your network account.
Key Benefits and Features
- You will be able to log in to your Mac with your network username and password. Your computer password will automatically change when you change your network password
- Easily install and use network printers.
- Update your Mac OS.
Impact on College Community
This update will take approximately 30 minutes. You will not be able to use your computer during the update, but you can schedule an appointment for a time convenient to you.
