Pre-Law Studies Certificate Program


Wheaton College offers the best preparation for law school - a strong liberal arts education program. Although students at Wheaton College do not major in pre-law studies, students considering a legal career may take advantage of any number of majors at Wheaton College that develop cognitive abilities for critical analysis, reading comprehension, written and oral expression, and logic.

In addition to their majors, some students may wish to pursue courses that focus on the law and related matters. The Pre-Law Studies Certificate Program is an interdisciplinary program designed to provide a concentration of course work that supports the future study and practice of law.

The Pre-Law Studies Certificate Program requires students to take 24 credit hours consisting of required core courses law-related elective courses, and supporting elective courses.
