After graduation with a Chemistry degree and English minor from Wheaton in 2006, Jenny attended medical school and did an Internal Medicine-Pediatrics residency at Indiana University. She has worked since for Eskenazi Hospital, Indianapolis' county health system. She says she has the job she always wanted--taking care of sick adults and children in various settings, teaching medical students and residents, and directing education efforts in global health education through her role as Assistant Director of Education at the IU Center for Global Health. She says, "Wheaton not only prepared me academically, it prepared me to face the spiritual dilemmas of the medical field and think about complex medical and ethical issues analytically. That background has been so foundational for me as I have become a physician and help train others."
