Wheaton offers Engineering degrees with concentrations in Mechanical, Biomedical, Civil/Environmental, and a Distributed Concentration where you develop the concentration with your advisor. You may also select the 3-2 dual degree pathway that lets you begin at Wheaton and finish at another engineering school.

The Wheaton College Engineering Lab, located in the Meyer Science Center, is a dedicated, flexible design lab with state-of-the-art prototyping equipment exclusively for engineering student use. The lab gives students the space and resources to design, prototype, and build a variety of projects.

The Engineering program is a part of the Physics and Engineering department. Physics and engineering students share many common core courses and often find themselves in the same clubs and taking part in the same activities.

Young-Ho Moon ’15, a dual-degree engineering student from Yanji, China, earned a bachelor of science degree from both Wheaton and the Illinois Institute of Technology. Wheaton wasn't initially on Moon's radar, though. By the time he visited campus, he'd already been accepted to a top-tier engineering school. But after an overnight stay at Wheaton, he decided the holistic growth opportunities offered in a liberal arts-focused engineering program were exactly what he needed.
After earning his degrees, Moon began a career in project engineering.
