Biography

Megan Ruenz is the E-Resources Librarian and Associate Professor of Library Science at Wheaton College, where she provides leadership in the management and assessment of the library’s electronic and continuing resources. In addition to her work in the library, she serves as a guest instructor in the Chemistry Department, teaching laboratory sections that support the undergraduate education of science majors.

She holds degrees from the University of Illinois, Miami University, and the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater. Megan currently serves as co-editor of the E-Resources Review column in the Journal of Electronic Resources Librarianship. Through the Consortium of Academic and Research Libraries in Illinois (CARLI), she has served on the Commercial Products Committee and currently serves on the E-Resources Management Committee. Her research interests focus on electronic resources, acquisitions, and the intersection of technology and library services.
