Biography
Matt Forsstrom completed a Ph.D. in economics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2017. He was an Assistant Professor of Economics at Wheaton College from 2017 to 2023 and rejoined the faculty in 2025. Before returning to Wheaton, Matt was a Health Economics Associate at Abt Global.
Matt has taught several courses, including Principles of Microeconomics, Health Economics, and Econometrics. His research is in empirical microeconomics with a focus on health and labor economics. Matt's work has been published in the Review of Economic Studies, Demography, and Labour Economics.
