Mrs. Coreen Ogilvie, M.A.T.BHS Department Lab Manager and Instructor
|
Coreen Ogilvie’s interests lie in working with the freshman labs and making the first year of biology as interactive and engaging as possible while covering a lot of topics. Coreen is typically the Coordinator and an instructor for the Biology 241 & 242 first year labs as well as involvement in Biology 201 non-majors labs. What got her hooked on biology is an advanced biology course she took in high school and the study of the cat. She loves to learn more about God’s creation through looking at how He put everything together so magnificently.
She also enjoys coordinating and working with our great student staff consisting of thirty to thirty-five students each semester. Coreen is active in a Women’s Bible study and is a big cheerleader for her family (husband, and two children and extended family) in all their interests and activities, which keep her busy too. She especially loves the beach, watching movies, taking walks with her dog, cooking, going out to eat, meeting people for coffee, traveling, and has an interest in getting to learn about other cultures and those who live there.
