Psychology Associations
There are two main associations that focus on the field of psychology, the American Psychological Association and the Association for Psychological Science.
American Psychological Association
The American Psychological Association is the largest scientific and professional organization representing psychology in the United States. APA is the world's largest association of psychologists, with more than 134,000 researchers, educators, clinicians, consultants and students as its members.
APA provides:

It explores whether psychology is the right path for you, possible careers it prepares you for, how to navigate your undergraduate psychology studies, how to find a job with an undergraduate degree in psychology, and many other topics of interest to psychology majors and people curious about majoring in psychology.
- lists of graduate programs, listings of scholarships grants and awards, careers that doctoral level training can lead to and APA style for writing.
- access to the Psychology Student Network with information on how to get a job with a bachelors in psychology, how to study, applying for grad school, summer science fellowships and opportunities, and many more topics of interest to psychology majors and other interested students.
Association for Psychological Science
The Association for Psychological Science is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the advancement of scientific psychology and its representation at the national and international level.
The student publications section of the APS provides great articles on applying for graduate school, finding the right graduate program, preparing for the GRE, asking for letters of recommendation, differences between a PsyD and a PhD, and a number of other topics.
