Double-majoring in psychology and philosophy as an international student during my time at Wheaton College has provided significant perspectives for deepening my understanding of persons as unique and whole beings with common concerns for flourishing which are, nonetheless, culturally shaped. In particular, my experience as a psychology major has helped develop my conviction that relationships, among other things, are at the core of an individual’s well-being. I have thus been inspired to pursue a career in Marriage and Family Therapy; I will be starting my graduate studies at Northwestern University this coming fall and earning a Master of Science degree in MFT.
