The Speech Competency Exam needs to be done by the end of your Junior year.
Seniors are ineligible to take the exam.

Wheaton College has an oral communication requirement as part of the general education curriculum. If you have had extensive speech training or experience, you may take the oral competency exam offered every A-quad by the Communication Department to test out of this requirement. The exam consists of presenting a persuasive speech to a jury composed of one or more members of the Communication faculty (fulfills requirement; no credit).
