FPE Fellows

The FPE Fellows Program is designed to provide opportunities for guests of the Wheaton Center for Faith, Politics & Economics (FPE) to share their expertise with students, faculty and constituencies at large in a way that affirms the values of the Center. A fellow may be a current or past public servant, distinguished scholar, or a business or cultural leader.

The Wheaton Center for Faith, Politics & Economics is delighted to have Ammon Simon '07 serving as our current FPE Fellow. 

Ammon Simon HeadshotAmmon Simon is Counsel to SEC Commissioner Peirce, covering crypto, corporate finance, and accounting. He was previously Counsel for capital markets on the Senate Banking Committee under Ranking Member Toomey. He also served as Chief of Staff and Senior Counsel to the General Counsel of the Department of Housing and Urban Affairs (HUD) in the Trump Administration and was previously Banking Counsel for Senator Ben Sasse. Ammon started his career at the Judicial Crisis Network, where he wrote on constitutional and legal policy issues for multiple conservative outlets, including National Review.

He has a J.D. from Columbia Law School and graduated from Wheaton College (IL) with a B.A. in Political Science and Economics.
