Jordan Yates

Jordan Yates HeadshotJordan Yates serves as founder and CEO of Starguard since April of 2022. His patented software detects and intercepts harmful content on social media platforms and other digital channels. The company empowers brands, governments, and public figures to avoid costly communications crises.

Prior to Starguard, at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Yates built Clicktrics, a digital marketing firm that has since helped Silicon Valley-backed startups and large professional services firms achieve predictable business growth by driving visibility across search and social social media channels. Clicktrics has become an indispensable ally and sales engine for a diverse clientele that spans professional service companies and Silicon Valley backed startups.

His early career and aptitude for logistics and supply management was born at the U.S. Department of Commerce in 2012 and honed during his tenure as Director of Special Projects for Pactrans Air & Sea. He lead the company’s adoption of ISO 9001 and consulted governments and enterprises on navigating the complexities of production and logistics of industrial equipment, agricultural chemicals, and apparel in Southeast Asia. After relocating from Chicago to Fort Lauderdale with his wife, Dr. Essie Yates in 2016, Jordan started Louis Holdings Inc, which specialized in supply chain management of consumer goods for brands including Marriott, Samsung, Lettuce Entertain You, and others.

Yates earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Business Economics from Wheaton College (IL), class of ‘11. He has served his community as Chairman of the City of Fort Lauderdale’s Economic Development Advisory Board and as a board member for Junior Achievement of South Florida, and FLITE Center, and Circle Y Ranch. He resides in Fort Lauderdale, FL with his wife, Dr. Essie Yates, son, Jordan, and champion showdogs Nala, Yaro, and Namdi.
