Please develop a brief written summary (approximately 300 words) that includes the following details:

- Identify 2-4 things that caught your attention with this initiative, on which you would hope to gain, learn, contribute, or grow. Feel free to share these as succinct bullet points.
- A brief statement of how you expect your participation to contribute to the Stott Fellows initiative objectives.
- A paragraph describing the following: a.) Specific reasons for your interest in participating, including background (if any) with this topic, b.) Your background (if any) with the [region/s], and c.) Any [host context language] you have studied/used. Please recall that no thematic expertise, familiarity with the region, or language ability is required; this information is for planning purposes only.
- Note any anticipated time away or other factors that may affect your participation for the full 18-month period of the Stott Fellows cohort, noting limiting time frames (e.g., planned sabbatical or leave, other commitments, personal or family elements that may restrict travel or participation). Participants will be expected to devote their full attention to the program during designated group times.
