If Anybody Asks You Who I Am: the Church and Criminal Justice
Dr. Harold Dean Trulear will be at Wheaton for the 2015 African American Church Lectureship as our chapel speaker. CACE will then host an evening lecture where Dr. Trulear will share his heart and work at the Center for Public Justice as Director of the Healing Communities Prison Ministry and Prison Reentry Project of the Philadelphia leadership Foundation. Dr. Trulear also sits on the Advisory Committee for Wheaton's Institute for Prison Ministries.
Harold Dean Trulear, Ph.D., has served as Associate Professor of Applied Theology and Director of the Doctor of Ministry program at Howard University School of Divinity since 2003. He currently teaches Church Music and Worship, Prophetic Ministry, Ministry and Criminal Justice, and Church and Community Studies. Through his research he also has been named a Fellow at the Center for Public Justice in Annapolis, Maryland, and served as a consultant to the Faith and Families portfolio of the Annie E. Casey Foundation.
