Important AIT Updates & News
We are excited to announce that Monday, February 10th will be a big day for Wheaton College! On that day we will officially launch Wheaton Gateway- a significant milestone in improving campus services. Campus-wide communications about this transition will be sent out soon.
But that’s not all—February 10th also marks the rollout of the new and improved Oracle Time Reporting module interface. HR will be sending an email with details about the enhancements, and additional information will be available on the Oracle Resources webpage.
AIT Trainings Offered
Canvas 101, to Teaching Assistants (TA’s)
TA's learn how to support their supervising professors in Canvas. The sessions will go over the design view and grading features of Canvas Academic and more. Sessions will be held in the Phelps room, located in lower Beamer Center.

Wheaton Gateway Preview & Oracle Time Reporting Training
Due to the Wheaton Gateway rollout and the Oracle Time Reporting interface changes happening on the same day (Feb 10), HR and AIT have joined forces to have a more centralized communication plan for both project rollouts. A part of this plan includes three identical Oracle and Gateway Training Sessions in February where HR will present the new Oracle Time Reporting screens, review the HR processes involving that module, and AIT will provide an overview of the features, functionality and customizations available on the Wheaton Gateway. These sessions will be held on:

AIT is pleased to share that the digital infrastructure at Wheaton College will soon be enhanced with the introduction of a new, state-of-the-art portal experience called Wheaton Gateway. This new portal will serve as a comprehensive hub, seamlessly connecting users with vital systems, the latest updates, information, and our community. Wheaton Gateway will also come with a mobile app that will be accessible on smartphones.
The Gateway is scheduled to go live for the campus on February 3rd.

Oracle HCM (Human Resources), Oracle ERP & EPM (Finance)
Oracle is pushing out updates to it's interface and as a result, users will begin to see changes to what is on the screen. The entire update will not happen all at one time; HR will have some changes rollout on 2/9 that will impact the Time Entry and Time Approval portions of Oracle. More changes will rollout over the course of February and March for both HR and Finance platforms.
