Requesting Archival Material
All archival materials are kept in a secure storage area that is not available for browsing. To access materials, visitors must identify specific items from the collection guides and submit a request. Staff members will deliver any paged items to users in the Manuscripts Reading Room.
If you are planning a visit to Wheaton Archives & Special Collections, you can request material prior to your arrival using the form below. We strongly encourage all visitors to contact the Archives at least 24 hours prior to research visits.
For any request, please include the following information, so the Archives staff can accurately identify the items being requested: Collection number, box number, folder number (or item number). E.g. Collection 9, Box 18, Folder 4 and Collection 113, F37 (Film 37).
